Changing Sessions and Refunds

 

Recreational Programs

Includes: Adult, PreCanSkate, CanSkate & PowerSkating

Skaters may request to permanently switch program sessions, based on availability, by sending the request in writing to:  WFSC Registrar

The request must include:

• Skater Name
• Current Program Session and Requested Program Session
• Effective Date

Prior to submitting the request, the skaters should verify online (via the Registration tab) that there is space available in the session they want to switch to.  A minimum of three days is required to ensure processing times.  

The change is only approved once the skater receives an updated invoice from our registration system.

Skaters must be qualified to skate on the session.

Each session change will result in a $25 Administration fee.

Refunds will be provided prior to September 30th only for Fall Programs and subject to a $25 refund fee per session unless for medical reasons.

Refunds and session changes MUST be sent to the email link above.

 

STARSkate Programs

 

Skaters may request a permanent change to their program session, subject to availability. All requests must be submitted in writing to: WFSC Registrar

Request Requirements

All submissions must include the following information:

• Skater’s full name
• Coach’s name
• Confirmation that the request has been discussed with the coach and Approved
• Current STAR level
• Current program session and requested program session
• Requested effective date

Process & Timelines

• Prior to submitting a request, skaters are responsible for verifying availability in the desired session via the Registration tab on the club website.
• A minimum of three (3) days is required for processing.
• Session changes are considered confirmed only upon receipt of an updated invoice from the registration system.
• Skaters must meet the qualification requirements for the requested session.

Administration Fee

• A $25 administration fee applies to all approved session changes.
• This fee will be waived within the first 10 days of a new session start (Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer) to allow for initial program adjustments.

Post Test Day Exception

Following a WFSC Test Day, STARSkaters will have a five (5) day window to request a session change without an administration fee, provided the change is to a higher-level session based on successful test completion.  All requests are processed on a         first-come, first-serve basis and are subject to availability.

Each session change will result in a $25 Administration fee.  

To allow appropriate adjustments for coaching, this charge will not be applied within the first 10 days following the beginning of a new session start (Fall, Winter Spring, and Summer).
