Off Ice Training
WHITBY FSC is proud to offer a comprehensive Off Ice Training Program designed to support every skater's development. Off Ice Training is a vital part of figure skating development, helping athletes in building the strength, flexibility, balance and endurance needed to excel on the ice. Our programs include: Ballet, Yoga, skating specific conditioning and strength training; all taught by experienced instructors who understand the unique demands of figure skating. Off Ice Training improves posture, core strength and alignment, which directly translates into stronger jumps, more controlled spins and improved overall performance. It also helps reduce the risk of injury, ensuring skaters stay healthy and confident as they work toward their goals. By combining on-ice practice with off-ice training, skaters gain the athletic foundation needed for long term success, confidence and resilience.
